Anti Personal Mine Blast Protective Suit (APMBPS)

Anti-Personal Mine Blast Protective Suit (APMBPS) has been designed to provide protection against accidental blast of APNM (Anti-Personal Non Metallic) M14 mines. It provides the protection from primary blast injuries. The APMBPS is made up of specially designed hard panels and quilts for the complete body. These hard panels and quits consists of lightweight hybrid composites and felts/fabrics. 

The design of suit is modular in which the hard panels and quilts can be added or removed as per operational requirements. The hybrid composite materials used in suit attenuate the blast over-pressure of APNM M14 mines to prevent injuries. The weight of the APMBPS is less than 6.0 kg.
